The above image is from a fashion shoot that I did for a fashion blog called My Breakfast Blog. The owner/author is one of the most adorable people I've ever met. We clicked instantly. I met her a day before I left for New York last fall, and I was so taken with her that I asked her to come join me on my trip- and she came! We had so much fun in New York. We met up with my good friend and fellow photographer Josh Derr and did a shoot, with her as our model, together (in addition to Josh and mine's usual annual NYC photography excursion together). Good times. I will be posting the images from that shoot in my new fashion portfolio (as soon as we can make the galleries work on my website the way they are supposed to
)
The other thing I was working on today that I have been meaning to work on for a long time is my online Art Galleries. These are the things that are supposed to come up when you click on "Art For Sale" on my homepage. The gallery I was working on today was my gallery of puppies, kitties, ponies... in short, images I made of animal life. Not all of them are just cutesy-cutesy though. You can see the images that I uploaded today (I will upload more later) in this 30 second slide show:
(Warning! There is music on the slideshow so if you are at work or someplace else you don't want the music to play, mute your computer speakers first!)
By the way, the music really has nothing to do with the images, but I really liked the song and never had the opportunity to use it before, so here it is... (the singer's name is Laura Ault and the song is called Sunshine In My Mind and it is used with permission)
I have some new and exciting stuff coming up. I have a great story about being reunited with some of my family who were lost for 100 years (literally!) and I have some new galleries coming up as well as some new independent businesses in Pacific Beach that I will be interviewing to find out how these entrepreneurs are surviving in these tough times, and hopefully find some inspiration for you and me to keep chasing our dreams.
Til next time!
